Guo earned a bachelor's degree in International Marketing at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, a master's degree in Operations Management & Information Systems at Northern Illinois University and a doctorate in Business Information Technology at Mississippi State University.

Vaziri teaches undergraduate courses in business analytics, business statistics, and management science, and graduate MBA courses in decision making and data analytics.
Vaziri’s research focuses on business analytics, ranking methods with applications to sports, and academic motivation in higher education.
Vaziri earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a doctorate in Industrial Engineering at Purdue University.

Balaji Padmanabhan has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and a PhD from New York University’s Stern School of Business and has worked in the data science, AI/machine learning and business analytics areas for 25 years. His current work addresses the design of artificial and augmented intelligence solutions that combine data, machine learning and modeling the real-world through complex systems simulations and has broad applications across business, policy, media and healthcare. He has published extensively in data science and related areas at premier journals and conferences in the field and has served on the editorial board of leading journals including Management Science, MIS Quarterly, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Information Systems Research, Big Data, ACM Transactions on MIS and the Journal of Business Analytics. 

Suresh Acharya has spent over 25 years designing and building statistical and optimization solutions in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Retail Planning, Airline Operations, Logistics, and Pricing and Revenue Management. As a practicing analytics professional, he continues to work with Fortune 500 companies in delivering practical algorithmic solutions that demonstrate measurable customer value.

Shaya Sheikh obtained his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in 2013. He worked as a scheduling and optimization scientist at Lancaster Laboratories and as a visiting professor at the University of Baltimore before joining New York Institute of Technology in 2015.
Currently, he serves as an associate professor of business and supply chain analytics in the School of Management. His research interests include the energy supply chain, scheduling, and the application of state-of-the-art, data-driven models for a variety of business challenges.
Sheikh has authored more than 40 research papers in highly ranked peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings such as Decision Support Systems, Energy, International Journal of Production Research, Applied Mathematical Modeling, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Operations Research Perspective, Journal of Wireless Networks, and IEEE international conferences. In addition, he serves as an editorial board member for several journals covering management and business analytics.
He is also the session chair for top international conferences such as INFORMS and POMS, and a co-chair, organizer, and committee member for several others. A prominent figure at international conferences in his field, Sheikh is regularly invited to speak, provide keynote remarks, and/or participate as a reviewer/panelist to grant and award-funding agencies. He also serves as an invited and ad-hoc reviewer for more than 15 top journals in the energy and business analytics fields.
