Rutgers Expert Available to Comment on International IPBES “Nexus” Biodiversity Report

Newswise — The Nexus Assessment, one of the most important global scientific assessments ever undertaken, will be released at a global gathering during a hybrid in-person and online press conference in Windhoek, Namibia, on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at 8 a.m. EST (13:00 UK GMT/14:00 CET)

The Report has been in development for more than three years, and was led by led by co-chairs Professor of Rutgers University and Professor Paula Harrison of the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, United Kingdom. The report was prepared by 165 experts from 57 countries. The Report will be considered and is expected to be approved at the eleventh session of the IPBES Plenary (#IPBES11, 10-16 December 2024).
