Fred, the author of Going Global: An Expert’s Guide to Working Abroad in the International Fitness Industryand the recipient of the 2007 IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year Award, has been working in the fitness and health industry for thirty years. A registered respiratory therapist, he holds a Masters Degree in Health Education and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise.
Fred is the former International Education Development Director for Qignition (Batuka). Previously, Fred was the Director of International Services for the Club Synergy Group, a network of award-winning specialists in the health club and spa industries.
Since 1991 he has worked for Reebok France in several capacities including Fitness Marketing Consultant, Team Manager and National Master Trainer. Additionally, he was a Global Master Trainer for Reebok International. Fred is also a Master Trainer for BOSU, TRX and Gliding. He served a four-year term on the IDEA Group Fitness Membership Committee, and is currently a member of the ACSM’s Health & Fitness Summit & Exposition Program Committee.
