Nicholas Warner is a planetary geologist who has been a member of the Geneseo faculty since 2014. He is also a SUNY Geneseo alumnus ('00).

With expertise in geology, science and education, Pyle can speak to earth phenomena and trends, planetary geology and how to keep and promote teachers in science education. He enjoys the history of science and how small bits of information can make sense of bigger questions.
Pyle earned a doctorate in science education from the University of Georgia, a master's in geology from Emory University, and a bachelor's in Earth science from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
