Michael Kimmelman - New York Times
Michael Kimmelman is the architecture critic of The New York Times. He has reported from more than 40 countries, was previously The Times’s chief art critic and, based in Berlin, created the Abroad column, covering cultural and political affairs across Europe and the Middle East. Twice a Pulitzer Prize finalist, he is the founder and editor-at-large of a new venture focused on global challenges and progress called Headway. He has written about public housing and homelessness, public space, landscape architecture, community development and equity, infrastructure, and urban design.

Michelle Toh - CNN Business
Michelle Toh is an award-winning CNN Business writer and reporter based in Hong Kong. She covers business and tech in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on breaking news and interviews with top company leaders. Michelle’s work has addressed major global business events, including the pandemic’s impact and China’s corporate crackdown. Before CNN, she served as the Hong Kong editor of Fortune Magazine, with contributions to prominent publications. Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, studied in Beijing, and is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.

Cassandra Profita - Oregon Public Broadcasting
Cassandra Profita is a reporter, producer, and editor for OPB’s Science & Environment unit. Cassandra is a fellow with the Institutes for Journalism and Natural Resources and the Metcalf Institute for Marine & Environment Reporting and an SEJ member. She’s gone out to sea to cover fisheries and marine heat waves and floated down the Klamath, Columbia, and Willamette rivers to report on dam removal, sea lions, and salmon. She’s ventured into active wildfires and flown over burned forests to investigate post-fire logging. Her stories have won awards from the National Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Radio Television Digital News Association, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
