Newswise — This week, ahead of World Mental Health Day: Mental Health at Work on Thursday, October 10, experts from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health are available for interviews to discuss mental health in the workplace.
Ron Goetzel, PhD, is a senior scientist in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society and director of the Institute for Health and Productivity Studies at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. He studies the relationship between employee health and well-being, medical costs, and workplace productivity.
Zhiqing (Albert) Zhou, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Mental Health at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. He studies how organizational practices and employee work experiences affect the mental health, safety, and well-being of employees and their family members (e.g., spouses, children, and elderly parents).
