Suhayl Dhib-Jalbut, MD, is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at RUTGERS-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and Chief of Neurology Service at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from American University of Beirut in Lebanon, and completed his neurology training and neuro-immunology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and National Institutes of Health (NIH), respectively.
Dr. Dhib-Jalbut has served on several national and international scientific committees, and editorial boards. He has authored over 130 publications in research areas including Neurovirology, biomarkers of multiple sclerosis (MS) treatment response and neuroprotective gene therapy. Additionally, he conducts basic and clinical research in MS funded by the NIH and National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
