New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) will host its Ninth Annual Cybersecurity Conference on Thursday, September 27, from 9 am to 6 pm at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway (1871 Broadway) in New York City. Presented by NYIT College of Engineering and Computing Sciences, the day-long conference brings together cyber experts to look at how best to protect data in healthcare, financial services, and energy industries. Blockchain technology will also be on the agenda, among other topics.
NYIT has offered a master’s degree in cybersecurity for more than a decade. Stimulating dialogue among experts from academia, business, and government bolsters students’ engagement with the big issues affecting markets worldwide. Meanwhile, NYIT faculty members consistently consult, speak, and carry out research on cybersecurity topics to maximize the benefits of the internet while minimizing risks to personal and data security.
