George Bibel, professor of mechanical engineering at the University of North Dakota, is a nationally recognized expert on train wrecks.

Bibel has been interviewed by CNN, Scientific America, Voice of America and Popular Science about recent rail accidents. Scientific American posted an excerpt from his book.
