Professor Rong LI (left) and Dr WANG Haiyang (right) together with their team from the Mechanobiology Institute at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the NUS Bia-Echo Asia Centre for Reproductive Longevity and Equality (ACRLE) devised an innovative technique that significantly enhanced the reproductive potential of oocytes, or immature egg cells, from an aged follicular environment by transplanting it to a young follicular environment.
