Employment Key to Veteran Wellbeing, UTEP Study Finds

A study conducted by Emre Umucu, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at The University of Texas at El Paso, and Beatrice Lee, Ph.D. (not pictured), an assistant professor in the same department, found that for veterans with mental illness, employment is key to emotional wellbeing. The study was published in the June issue of the journal Stress and Health.
