Cover of the July issue of Neurosurgical Focus: Video. Following a surgical incision and craniotomy straddling the transverse sinus, the posterior fossa dura is exposed and opened in a V-shaped fashion. The dura is retracted superiorly, slightly tenting the tentorium and transverse sinus without occlusion or venous back pressure. This provides excellent exposure of the tentorium, which is then incised to expose the cerebellum. Artist: Roberto Constantino Suazo. See the article by Pichardo-Rojas et al. (V7).
