One can think of Greenland’s melting icesheet as a tap pouring out not only water but also vast amounts of sediment which eventually find its way to the coastal zones to form deltas. The majority of Greenlanders support the potential for extracting and exporting the sediment to the global market. To get a sense of scale, the small white dots in the image are icebergs.
