Sandia National Laboratories materials physicist Paul Clem holds a sample of nanoparticle-coated glass. Supported by the New Mexico Small Business Assistance program and a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement, a team of researchers including Paul worked with IR Dynamics on polymer films made from thermochromic nanoparticles. To help it mature further, Sandia provided technical assistance to IR Dynamics through the Technology Readiness Gross Receipts Tax Credit Initiative.
