Donathan Brown, an expert on immigration and political rhetoric, is available to comment on the political significance of the language used by President Donald Trump to discuss the "migrant caravan" headed from Central America to the U.S. in the run-up to the 2018 midterm elections.
Brown says that the language Trump uses when discussing the caravan is designed to appeal to white nationalists.
A two-time Fulbright recipient, Brown is an associate professor in the Department of Communications Studies at Ithaca College.
