is professor and chair in the Department of Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he is also Director of the Anxiety Research and Treatment Lab.
He is available to chat ahead of the holidays about stressors and triggers this time of year which include:

2. Shyness and social anxiety over the holidays (e.g., fear of holiday parties)
3. Perfectionism and the holidays (needing to get things just right)
Dr. Antony was previously the Graduate Program Director and Director of Clinical Training at TMU. He was also the founding director of both the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic and the Psychology Residency Program at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton. He is also formerly provincial clinical lead of the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program. Dr. Antony is a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, and he served as president of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (2019-2020) and the Canadian Psychological Association (2009-2010).
