Newswise — New analysis from the CDC shows every 30 minutes, emergency departments are treating a patient with a firearm injury. 

The by researchers from the CDC looked at 10 states and the District of Columbia between 2018 and 2023. They found approximately one firearm injury every 30 minutes were being treated in the ER.
