Newswise — Experts from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health will be available for interviews around the upcoming CDC reports “Daily Screen Time Among Teenagers: United States, July 2021 – December 2023” and “Bullying Victimization Among Teenagers: United States, July 2021 – December 2023.” Both are scheduled to be released October 30. 

Tamar Mendelson, PhD, is a Bloomberg Professor of American Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and director of the Center for Adolescent Health, with joint appointments in the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health.

Elise Pas, PhD, is a research professor in the Department of Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She develops and tests school-based preventive interventions focused on improving classroom climate, promoting positive student social, emotional, and behavioral development, and preventing negative behaviors (e.g., aggression and bullying).

Laura Clary, PhD, is an assistant scientist in the Department of Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She develops, implements, and evaluates school-based interventions to improve mental health, resilience, and relationships for children and adolescents.
