The CDC might be moving away from a blanket recommendation when it comes to annual COVID-19 vaccines.
The revised recommendation the CDC is considering would recommend individuals who are 65 and older or have compromised immune to receive two shots each year.
A formal vote on the recommendation is expected in June.
