Newswise — IRS-certified student volunteers with Cal State Fullerton’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, or VITA, will help families navigate last-minute tax preparation Saturday in CSUF’s . CSUF’s trained accounting students can illustrate for viewers and readers how the region is preparing for the tax deadline.
VITA is a volunteer-based initiative supported by the IRS in CSUF’s . The program’s IRS-certified student volunteers have offered tax services to the public on Saturdays since February.
Who: The program provides free tax preparation assistance to individuals and families with $65,000 or less in income, individuals with disabilities, elderly taxpayers, limited English-speaking taxpayers, and international students.
When: Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
