As immigration continues to be a hot-button topic for many state and national political races in advance of the November 6 elections, Dr. Timothy Dunn, professor of sociology at Salisbury University (Maryland), is available to provide analysis of immigration issues in the U.S., especially as they relates to the Mexican border.

Dunn is the author of several books about U.S.-Mexico immigration policies, including Blockading the Border and Human Rights: The El Paso Operation That Remade Immigration Enforcement and The Militarization of the U.S.-Mexico Border, 1978-1992: Low-Intensity Conflict Doctrine Comes Home. He also has spoken with national media about immigration and border issues, most recently for the National Public Radio program Radiolab.
